Objective
The University of Iowa Dance Marathon leadership team and CSI first began the application development in 2008 and the site was rolled out in 2009. With new security considerations and general feature enhancements, a new approach was required for the over 10-year old application.
Solution
The reconstruction of the application began with learning more about how the application was being used, to drive decisions about improvements being made. The once single application was broken down into a suite of applications to better support the evolving needs of the dance marathon organization and improve future maintainability.
